Advertiser disclosure
This site is free to read because vendors pay us in some circumstances. Here is exactly how, and exactly what it does and does not buy.
How we make money
- Affiliate commissions. Some outbound links to vendors are tracked. If you sign up, we may receive a commission at no cost to you. These links carry
rel="sponsored". - Paid placement. Vendors can buy visibility in clearly labelled units. Any such unit is marked "Sponsored". Paid placement never changes a rubric score or a rank position.
- Lead matching. When you use our matching form, we share your stated requirements with platforms that fit, and may be paid for that introduction.
- Advertising. We run paid search campaigns to bring readers here. That is a cost, not a revenue source, but it means some visitors arrive via an ad.
What compensation does not buy
No vendor can buy a score, a rank, a removed criticism, or an added pro. Scores are produced by the published rubricapplied identically to every platform, from figures the vendor itself publishes. The sub-scores and sources are printed on every review so the result can be checked against the vendor's own page.
Conflicts we will state plainly
If we ever hold equity in, are paid to advise, or otherwise have a material interest in a vendor we cover, that will be disclosed on the vendor's review page itself — not only here.
Corrections
Pricing and certifications change constantly. Every figure we publish carries the date we read it. If something is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will correct it and note the change.
